2026 Electric City Music Conference Performance Schedule
Three days. Dozens of artists. Bars, breweries, clubs, theaters, DJs, acoustic sets, award winners, late-night parties and the kind of random discovery that makes a music conference fun in the first place. Use this page to plan your ECMC weekend, figure out which pass makes sense and build your own route through the Electric City.
Don’t pick one show. Build a night.
The Electric City Music Conference is designed to be explored. Friday and Saturday are spread across independent venues in Scranton and nearby Dickson City, with different genres, rooms and crowds happening at the same time.
Start with one artist you know. Catch somebody you have never heard of. Walk down Linden Street for another room. Grab a ride to The V Spot, Strange Birds, The Thirsty Elephant or Union Vapors. Come back downtown. Stay for the DJ. Change your plan halfway through the night.
The schedule below is organized so you can open only the venues you care about instead of scrolling through one enormous wall of set times.
Which ECMC ticket or pass should I buy?
It depends on how you want to experience the weekend. You can attend one event, pay an individual venue cover, or use a Hopper Pass to move between participating rooms.
Steamtown Music Awards Ticket
The weekend opens at The V Spot with the 13th Annual Steamtown Music Awards, a celebration of the musicians, bands, venues, promoters, photographers, media personalities and music-industry professionals who make up Northeastern Pennsylvania’s music scene. Expect 35+ awards, a red carpet, live-streamed interviews, professional photo opportunities, guest presenters, live performances and one huge room full of NEPA music people. Nominees receive free admission; the public needs a ticket.

Best for anyone who wants to bounce between multiple Friday showcases. It replaces the individual $10 covers at participating ECMC venues and also includes admission to Friday’s Screaming Emo Night at The Ritz. If you are planning to hit more than one paid venue, this is the pass that makes ECMC feel like a festival.

The same idea for Saturday: move between participating paid venues without paying another $10 at each door. The Saturday Hopper Pass also includes Mac Miller Night at The Ritz, making it especially useful if you plan to catch bands around town before heading to the theater.

Quick answers before you head out for the weekend.
What is an ECMC Hopper Pass?
A Hopper Pass is designed for people who want to move between participating ECMC venues during Friday or Saturday. Instead of paying the individual $10 cover again at each participating paid venue, use the appropriate night’s Hopper Pass. The Hopper Pass also includes that night’s Ritz special event.
Which venues have a $10 cover without a Hopper Pass?
The Bog, The V Spot, Backyard Ale House, Sergei’s Live, Mutant Brewing, The Dungeon at The Ritz, Union Vapors 570 and The Thirsty Elephant have a $10 cover unless you have a Hopper Pass.
Are any ECMC performances free?
Yes. The performances at Black Cow are free. Strange Birds uses a suggested $10 donation model, with all donated money going directly to the venue.
Is Emo Night included with an ECMC Hopper Pass?
Yes. Friday’s Screaming Emo Night at The Ritz is ticketed separately if you are buying an individual event ticket, but admission is included with the Friday Hopper Pass.
Is Mac Miller Night included with an ECMC Hopper Pass?
Yes. Saturday’s Mac Miller Night at The Ritz can be purchased as its own event ticket, but admission is included with the Saturday Hopper Pass.
What are the Steamtown Music Awards?
The Steamtown Music Awards is ECMC’s opening-night awards ceremony celebrating musicians, bands and music-industry professionals from Northeastern Pennsylvania. The 2026 event takes place Thursday, September 10 at The V Spot and features 35+ awards, live performances, red carpet activity, interviews, photography and guest presenters.
